	ON OCCUPIED TERRITORY is a memorial to the meeting of Captain Matthew Flinders and Post-Captain Nicolas Baudin in Ramindjeri Ngarrindjeri Waters. It presents three worlds and three cultures, connected by the 'winds of change' that brought Flinders and Baudin to the shores of this land. The wind produces an æolian sound in the cables which is a reference to Ngarrindjeri singing of the land.
On Occupied Territory - 2 Æolian Harps & 2 wind vanes, 15 X 16 X 2m, stainless steel, carbon fibre, resin, industrial paint on steel. A meeting place Ceremonial Dance by the Ngarrindjeri Dancers at the launch. Exchange ceremony of British, French & Ngarrindjeri flags by M.Michel Rocard, Member EU; Anthony Sprake, Consul General UK; Tom Trevorrow, Ngarrindjeri Tendi.
